How to use
The child must be in the room where temperature will be measured at least 15 minutes before the reading.
Dry your child's forehead if there is perspiration.
Point the blue luminous ray above the right or left eyebrow.
Wait at least 30 minutes after the bath or a meal before measuring temperature.
Wait at least 2 minutes between consecutive measurements, and always take the reading from the same area/side of the forehead.
The innovative Thermo-Precision forehead thermometer is easy and natural to use. It measures quickly the temperature (infrared rays) of the forehead up to 10 cm of distance. The distance reading mode allows you to measure the temperature of the baby even when it is asleep or unwell, without disturbing it. Thanks to the pointer, you are sure to take the measurement in the correct position and from the right distance. Forehead temperature is traditionally considered to be a valid indication of body temperature, due to the fact that a few mm under the skin of the temple area, there are plenty of blood vessels which carry blood from the heart to the brain's control centre for body temperature (i.e. to where the hypothalamus is located).
